I have been there a lot of times. Today inside the mist and fog was very special. An incredible experience with Sheldon my American friend. I wanted to show her where Dalí & Gala got married.
Very good place for a gourmet stay in Girona. It is 15Km away from Girona, up in the woods in Nature Park. Clean rooms and an excellent restaurant to enjoy catalan cuisine delicatessen. Home made "Canelons", home made "Crema Catalana". Don't miss "paella" and "fideua". Not expensive. Chef is very knowledgeable and experienced. Service is friendly. The place is well known by locals. Great place for hiking, lots of people cycling, motorcycling also. Good place for astronomic observation, have a very nice place to use telescopes. Good place for bird observation. There is even a guy with a short wave receptor. Presentation/meeting room for rent. One has room for over 100 people. Other luxurious one is for up to 35. The road is narrow with lots of curves, not the best for a motorhome. Nearby villages of Madremanya and Monells completely deserve e visit, if you like ancient places.
